Pre Uni Qualification   It is expected that students for this course will have already undertaken at least three year's worth of intensive study of the Chinese language or its equivalent.

Description

This module aims to provide students who have already achieved an upper intermediate level of Chinese with an opportunity to develop their writing skills through practical exercises and the study of themed 'real' Chinese language texts taken from a wide range of sources, including newspapers, journal, literature and the internet. All classes revolve around a weekly theme in order to facilitate the acquisition of not only core vocabulary and grammar, but also certain knowledge of certain aspects of Chinese politics, society, business and literature.
